Welcome to HER PRISM™

An intentional coaching practice for women in medicine.

Brain health, lifestyle medicine, the midlife transition, and the practice of real and authentic life. It draws on a background in vascular neurology, women’s brain health, and lifestyle medicine, and on training as a Professional Coach in Life & Wellness.

If you have found your way here, you have likely spent years protecting everyone else’s health while your own slipped. Aleksandra Pikula, MD

What HER PRISM is for

The window where vulnerability becomes wisdom.

HER PRISM is a way for a woman to look honestly at her own midlife, through her biology and her experience, and see what she could not see before. Through HER Prism is what she finds when she does.

⸺ 01 The Program

A 16-week arc, sequenced for sustainable change.

Structured. Measurable. Applied inside an active medical career. Four phases, each producing a tangible deliverable.

01
Weeks 1–4
Reset

Biology of Your Depletion

Stress neuroscience, the menopause transition brain, sleep as medicine.

02
Weeks 5–8
Reclaim

Values Archeology

Values clarification, reconnection, and the daily practice of living them.

03
Weeks 9–12
Rise

Architecture of Sustainability

Workplace and home environment diagnostics, boundary architecture, daily protocols.

04
Weeks 13–16
Integration

HER Bio‑Harmony

Career Chapter Design, Leadership Identity, Future Self letter.

The arc is fixed. What goes into it is not. The HER PRISM Self-Assessment at intake decides where you start and how the first weeks are sequenced.

⸺ 02 Who this is for

Women in medicine and health care who can feel their health, energy, or career changing.

The 3 a.m. wake-ups. The brain fog during procedures you used to do half-asleep. The hot flashes during presentations. Coming home with nothing left for the people there.

You don’t need to leave medicine to come back to yourself inside it.

Before you decide

Not sure if it’s for you?

Take a few quiet minutes to see where you are. A short, private readiness reflection across the themes this work touches. No pressure, and no sign-up to begin. For you, first.

⸺ 03 The HER PRISM Method

Four pillars. Sequenced, not stacked.

Biology first, then values, then systems, then integration. Each pillar built on the one before it. The full pyramid, with the principles, the tools, and the measurement framework, is on the method page.

⸺ 04 Why this is different

It is not another wellness program.

Built first on my own biology

I went through midlife burnout and recovery myself, then built the framework around what actually worked.

Anchored in measurement

The same self-report instruments at baseline, mid-program, and end. See the measurement framework →

Designed for women in medicine and health care

Calibrated to female biology, menopause transition neurochemistry, and the careers and lives women actually lead.

Primarily for women in medicine. Women outside medicine who feel this calls to them are welcome to apply — all three tiers are open to you by a 15‑minute fit conversation.

What this work is

I help women in medicine feel themselves again at midlife, starting with the body and building through values, systems, and integration, so they can approach what comes next with clarity, whether that’s staying in the work they love, leading differently, or moving toward something new.

The founder

Aleksandra Pikula, MD

Expertise and experience

Two decades in vascular neurology and ten years in women’s brain health.

Board-certified in four specialties · Professional Coach in Life & Wellness · 110+ peer-reviewed publications

A decade of having walked through midlife burnout and recovery herself.

She then built a structured way back, first on her own biology, then as HER PRISM.

I knew the data. I taught the data. I wrote the guidelines on what chronic stress does to a midlife brain.

I tried to optimize my way out of it first, the way most physicians do. It helped. It was not enough. The frameworks were everywhere; the sequence was nowhere I could find. So I built one, on myself, and I am sharing it with you now in the hope that it helps you find your own way back.

The window where vulnerability becomes wisdom.

⸺ 06 What this work is built on

Grounded in science, structured as a method.

HER PRISM is built on the HER PRISM Method, a structured framework that sequences sustainable change instead of adding one more set of demands. It draws on two decades in vascular neurology, ten years in women’s brain health, lifestyle medicine, and on training as a professional coach.

This work is designed for women who arrive depleted, to help them leave with clearer boundaries, a sustainable routine, and more control over their own time and energy. This is coaching and education, not a clinical program or medical treatment.
